Trade Facilitation

Removal of tariffs and other barriers to trade. Utilization of Information Technology, business matchmaking, and cross-border logistics support to connect women-led enterprises to African markets under the AfCFTA.

About this Programme

Our Trade Facilitation pillar directly empowers women entrepreneurs to participate in and benefit from the African Continental Free Trade Area. We provide practical support to remove barriers that disproportionately affect women-led enterprises — including tariff complexities, documentation burdens, logistics challenges and market information gaps. Through strategic use of information technology, targeted business matchmaking programmes and cross-border logistics support, we connect women-owned businesses to new markets across Africa's 54 nations.
